I switched from my desktop for just a little bit. It is a LENOVO. There is a crackle pop type of noise. usb connected mic. Wondering if I need to upgrade the soundcard. Any ideas?

Good comments all. One question about the software is whether or not it is detrimental to the entire audio. A 40 min track is a lot to de-click.

For me there is trouble with mouth noise when I have coffee before recording. Each morning I have at least two cups before I start. Not gonna quit either.
