I just can't imagine being impressed by the mic. I've bought mics that are suppose to sound like "the real thing" but never have. A signature mic? Hmmm.

Why isn't anybody posting audio from the HH MXL? Anybody have one?

If I wanted one something like this I would have made it too. You are resourceful. Good job. Really glad you didn't go out and buy one.

Here is a link to the Hogan mic samples/"shootout". It features the Sennheiser MK416, the EV RE-20, and the Neumann 87. IMHO it only slightly surpasses the EV.
