There are over 1,189 Voices-Over Artist in the United States.
Sounds about right for the number of guitar pickers in Nashville. |

Irregardless, I think the tlm 102 works quite well for you. So well in fact that I now hold my 102 in a higher regard, as in "it's not the mic, it's me".
Thank you. |

Philip, thank you for your frequent sharing of stuff you share so frequently well. The selection of mics you might use in the absence of your U87 is commendably commendable.
The Manley Gold, undou ... |

Top question for all #voiceover people - Do I really need a Neumann U87 mic? Top question for all VAs. Do your parents make you do your chores around the house even if you have an urgent audition?

Hi Mike,
I used my 416 for one audiobook and would not use it again... (or do another audio book heh heh)

I use a Heil/Luxo arm with a 2-pound ankle weight wrapped around it at the mic end.
And I have a (color matched) metal bar zip-tied on mine to add that weight/balance |

LUXO makes one that has no exposed springs. Attractive and modern appearance. The 416 is so lightweight mounted on this arm it's kinda like the tail wagging the dog. Very sturdy product. |
