VO-BB - 20 YEARS OLD!

Weights for 90 minutes or so every morning around 8 am at the gym...it's super close to home ...so if I need to rush back to the studio for something, I can.

AKG K141 studio's...bought a pair 15 years ago, great full rich sound.

Unfortunately, they don't make 'em anymore but I found another pair for sale on ebay and snapped 'em up as a back up just in c ...

messed around a bit with the gain on the mic pre side and the gain knob on the compressor side on the right...that one's sounding a little crusty when I move it up and down too.

Struggling with a much muddier, thinner sound this week coming off my Universal Audio LA 610 into my MBox 2...any suggestions as to what the culprit might be?
