Hokey smokes! My firewall didn't like that. What path are you trying to guide us down, anyway? _________________ Greg Littlefield

Crikey— that is amazing!!!
I kept saying out loud "How do they land? How do they land?"
I'm glad the little movie resolved that nicely.

Oh, be still my beating heart. If I could have one super power it would be to fly. Willing to bear the pee in my pants and all, I think I'd actually try that some day.
Just like DB, 'how do they land?!?!' was at the top of my mind the whole time. Funny, though, what made me the most uneasy was when they guy sitting on the ledge leaned over, reached out, and said "here". Good grief, man!

Deebs,
I was thinking the exact same thing. I was ready to see them skim along the water at the bottom like a stone skipping across a pond.
Wow would I like to try that! _________________ Try to imagine a world where there is no such thing as hypothetical situations.

I saw something like this a couple weeks ago on some skiing film. I was wondering the same thing about landing.....I am glad that I found that answer. I can now put a check mark next to...."found out how they land" I can move on now...Thank you! |

my first thought was of June Foray too - then i looked at the link. my uncle sent it to me yesterday. he was a paratrooper in viet nam. he told me that "if this had been available in my day i would be famous or dead." _________________ "i know philip banks": todd ellis

I'm guessing that lump on their backs is a parachute/parasail, and therefore I'm guessing you have to have some kind of last drop-off to drop down into and pull a cord. I'm thinking there isn't a whole lot of UP in those suits either. Down all the way ranging from a very slight decline to a straight plunge.
