I already have the Heil. Thinking about getting a second mic boom. Any other recommendations or comparisons?

Any alternatives to clips or drilling holes in the desks?

I found this nifty idea that converts an IKEA work lamp. The weight appears to be under 6 pounds. Pending the weight of the mic and the distance extended from the center of the base, I think additional weight would be advised to truly stabilize the stand.
