I am selling my Rode NTK with shock mount. It puts too much bass on my voice. I've had it for about 3 years but only used it two or three times. I would like to get $350 for it. Make me an offer. Here is a picture: http://www.buymyvoice.com/pictures/IMG_1207.JPG _________________ BuyMyVoice.com

What kind of preamp are you using for your NTK?
The Rode NTK is not everybody's cup of tea, but I've made literally tens of thousands of dollars using mine over the years. It's a good quality mic, but needs a decent preamp like any good mic.
I don't know the seller, but $350 is a pretty darn good deal for a mint quality Rode NTK. You can also upgrade the tube for another $40-100 and make it a lot better.
That's my unsolicited 2 cents! _________________ Best regards,

Hi Tom,
I've been using the NTK straight into my Digi002 the few times I used it.

Not personally familiar with the Digi002, but it certainly qualifies as a high-quality piece of gear. So it must be that the NTK is just not a good match for your voice. Funny how that works sometimes.
A month or so ago, I did a shootout here comparing my NTK with a Neumann TLM-103 and a Neumann TLM-49 I was thinking of buying. The -49 was the most expensive of the lot and has a good reputation, but the consensus seemed to be that the NTK was preferred by most, the -49 the least.
Your NTK should find a good home somewhere! _________________ Best regards,

Bernard:
Maybe EBAY is the place to sell it, here's what they've sold for.
Otherwise, just be patient. Someone will eventually want it. There are two used NTK's on Craigslist here in LA right now for the same price you are asking. _________________ If it sounds good, it is good.

Maybe try it with the Rode supplied tube? They tend to be a little more hi-mid'y. Email with a request...they'll send one no charge. _________________ Wicked huge.....in India.
