Looks great...I just don't dig the QT playbars since they won't stream (under Windows at least). MP3 seems a much better way to go since anybody can play them on any system without issue. These days I usually use Flash players with MP3 download links for my clients. _________________ Lou Zucaro

thx, peeps!
Lou - I feel you on the QT thing... but most of the people that hire me have no issues with it since the file, an mp3, is only about a minute. And, like you do, I added a direct link to the file anyway. gotta go with the majority of my buyers. I haven't had any cross-platform nor cross-browser issues doing it like this thus far and I've tested on everything from OS9 Mac's using Netscape Navigator, to XP and Vista using IE, Firefox, and Chrome.
Deebs - I gotta keep it fresh ya know? This is my 5th version and there's always some carryover of either an element, concept, or theme.

Love it....the prize fighter of VO. Or should I say chess boxer. I am thinking you saw the same story on TV that I did about the guy who is a professional chess boxer. Great concept for the site Anthony!

Here is some chess boxing for the uninitiated:

Your site is very, very nice, but your demos are fabulous. Your commercial demo is what I'd call perfection. Wow.

Thanks everyone... the demos (except trailer) were produced by Marice Tobias in 2006... or was that in 2007? Can't remember... although it's time to update them, they still get me work.
Ben - ROFLMAO - I couldn't stop watching that video! Is that for real? I didn't catch that story on TV that you mentioned, but would've loved to.
My design was actually inspired by the cover of the latest twilight book - i saw an ad for it in the subway and it immediately spoke to me. It was an image of controlled strength; finesse yet power! It was edgy, dark, and smart; an amazing cover!
I licensed a similar chess image to represent intelligence and power. Then added the boxer image to create tension and represent aggression with controlled power. There are other "messages" that are created by adding both images together, but I'll leave those to the subconscious.
Finally, I needed to tie myself to the movie marketing business and give a nod to my urban background (i.e., expand the brand without walking away from what got me here in the first place - the urban reads). Hence, the movie poster on the spray-painted temporary construction wall (POST NO BILLS).
It was put together in two days.

Anthony,
Believe it or not, it is real stuff. I was laughing too while watching the segment on television....not the clip I linked to but a segment (even though it is funny) on a show about an American guy that is legitimately training for this sport. It is getting big over in Russia and other parts of the East.
The site idea is amazing stuff and the idea of chess boxing is very intriguing too. I think I would buy a ticket to go see it live. They say it could be an Olympic sport in 10 years or so. _________________ Ben
