The randomness of the items they choose to show drives my wife crazy.
Today on "How it's made":
Microphones, hot tubs, neti pots, furalex and geostationary satellites! |

Quite interesting Mr. Banks. Thank you. And Tom, the same thought struck me. What a random assortment of features! _________________ Be well,

Shame, video was no longer available. Is it just me or are you all seeing that message more often on Youtube? _________________ If it sounds good, it is good.

Seen it before, but a male announcer was doing the VO. It seems that there was a better description of the work on this one.
This program has a reputation (with me) of providing inaccurate descriptions and info.
An interesting program.
Thanks for the post. _________________ Esse quam videri "To be rather than to seem"

Hot tubs and beer steins are somewhat related to the voice over industry. I'm not sure about the fake turf, though.
How It's Made does now come in a re-formulated version called How It's Made Remix in which they group three or four products that actually do relate to one another.
And where's Brooks Moore? _________________ Lee Gordon, O.A.V.

Worked fine for me. Cool video. And, I think there's a common link between Neti pots, microphones, hot tubs, furalex, and geostationary satellites. Can you guess? _________________ Charter Member: Threadjackers Local 420 |

They left out all the cool stuff- like tuning the diaphragm. |

They were all initially envisioned by Arthur C. Clarke? _________________ Lee Gordon, O.A.V.

Yes, I'm seeing it fairly often and don't believe it. Come back a bit later or the next day and the video's usually there.

Nice to see most of its components coming together.
Anyone up for a factory tour in Berlin to catch what they left out?
Fortunately the German word for microphone is mikrophon. _________________ Carl Welden
