One of those that sneaks up on you. The English language is wonderful, eh?
It's important that when you estimate costs, every estimate is supported by good judgment and sound thinking....
The script was all about estimating estimates.
While I'm at it, does anyone else struggle with the word "contingency"? |

Got one, too... was just asked to do a read for a skating rink specifying their dress code. Doesn't look too hard, but try saying:
No Tube Tops, Backless Tops; No Bare Mid-Drifts. No Hats or Head Gear, Including Sweat Bands, Bandanas, or the like.
in rapid succession. "Tube Tops" and "Sweat Bands - Bandanas" made me look like Mr. Ed flapping my lips this morning. _________________ David Swinehart

Mid-Drifts, eh?
Is that a younger version of "middle-age spread"? _________________ DBCooperVO.com

This could move us into an entirely different direction, but I wish I had a nickel for every time I heard someone use "contingency" when they really meant "contingent." _________________ Lee Gordon, O.A.V.
