One of my clients - an agency, sent me this in an email from his client:
Quote: | Dear (Agency),
I just listened to all six commercials and am very pleased. Please thank the gentlemen (F2) who “gave life” to these messages! I approve all of them to be used in the appropriate markets.
With appreciation, |
What fun to have the client speak about my work like this.
Just thought I would share...

Must be in the air! I got this from my stodgy hockey-fan Canadian producer at CBS after I read an extra spot late today:
Quote: | I love you! I truly do! |

I luv ya BOTH!
It's interesting...
When I was at my day job at that recording studio, I had a client from a big bank who was always great to work with and was always appreciative. One day as I was about to leave he, called and begged to see if I could get a quick prompt done that they had forgotten and basically his butt was on the line.
We had just hired a new engineer/producer, BTW.
I got my boss to record the prompt, I edited it, & sent it off...took maybe 15 minutes tops.
My client was SO appreciative. He sent me a really sweet email and I was happy to help him out.
I read the email to the new guy & said "This is why I love my job."
His answer?
"Tsk...you should have told him that you couldn't do it and just had him wait till tomorrow. I don't get what the big deal is."
New guy was a pain to work with from day one.
I'm still in touch with the client.
Appreciative emails are GREAT! _________________ Liz de Nesnera O.A.V. ~ Livin' The VO Dream!
