You've GOTTA see this video. It moved me to tears, in an inspiring and hugely entertaining way. This is a frumpy-looking 47 year-old woman who appeared on Britain's Got Talent and blew everybody away. My secret dream is to someday do what Susan Boyle did here.

Susan Boyle - Singer - Britain's Got Talent 2009

I guess we really are never too old, eh?

I loved the look on Simon's face. Without a doubt, she embodies the concept of her song.

"Never judge a book by its cover".

Wow!

Hey, I'm a total sap myself. Tears streaming onto my keyboard. If I had been one of the judges, I would have been left speechless.

"Oh great! An old, sad, stupid, ugly country bumpkin. Let's all laugh at her, that's what this TV programme is all about!"

As a founder President of the Old, sad, stupid and ugly country bumpkin club of Great Britain I love it when one of our members lives the club's motto. " Operor non diligo mihi laus quis EGO sum validus efficio"

Do not love me, acknowledge (praise) what I am able to do

Philip

She is after all better looking than you or I for that matter. What really matters is she did it live. She did it with out Melodyne or any auto tune equipment.

Three cheers for Susan. God gives us all a talent and she got the stage to show her stuff. I look forward to hearing more from this talented lady.

Tom Thanks for sharing.

In a contest between Christians and Lions it's so nice seeing the Lions surrender.

Well everyone is so impressed with Susan Boyle that she is popping up all over the net. A Star Is Born? Sure seems like it. It was an amazing performance and great to watch the judges.

If you enjoyed this, you MUST see 6 year old Connie sing at Britain's Got Talent.

Again, saps beware! Or have lots of tissues nearby.

Great performance. It reminded me of the Paul Potts thing a couple of years ago on the same show. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sxOytYLlhiQ

You beat me too it. Paul Potts was great, the pair could make quite an opera together.

Wow, what a beautiful voice. You watch, Simon will sign her up, and promote her. As voice over artists, we have learned that you can't judge a book by its cover. Hopefully she taught several of the people in the audience that lesson as well.
