I was wondering if anyone could tell me how one would go about streaming a session using Winows Media or Real Player? I have read about it in a couple of places, but no directions on how.
(Sorry, Frank. But I have a client interested in giving this a shot. If you would just hurry your butt up... ) |

Streaming can be done using Windows Media Encoder - it's Free, but will cost you about 9 seconds of delay. The quality is nice if you encode around 128kbps as either .wma or .mp3 - above that the quality level increase is marginal.
Real Audio or Real Media requires a Real Media Encoder and a server to stream, delay is a little less around 4 to 5 seconds, and the quality is the best of the major media encoders.
Remember, this is a one-way deal and you will need to have a telephone connection to make this happen as well.
Oh, I am working on it... just one little hitch... I need about 500 of you to buy iSpeek... nah, just kidding... a thousand would be nice...LOL Dont forget to check it out at www.ispeek.org ...it sounds this good...
