Tomorrow at 0615 BST I leave Portgordon to head south for Vox2009. A little bit of business and a lot of fun a laughter.

At 1030am I meet a vulgar, frightful American at Birmingham Airport and when we arrive at The Chesford Grange I'll disown her as is only right and proper.

I promise to have a good time on your behalf.

Don't worry, some of us will look after the elderly gentleman, he will be seated in an inconspicuous place and given a sedative.....its the only way you see, after last year, we had to promise he wouldn't be let loose.

I'm all ready at the Chesford Grange. Quite a lovely hotel it is. The drive up from London was easy as can be. As for the flight across, I have no idea. I was asleep for all but the first and last 30 minutes. I have my camera and will post as many photos as I can manage. Looking forward to meeting David and Stefania and seeing Philip and Deirdre again.
