"Fresh foods" into "butcher shop" just felled me at every turn.

Five fresh fish specials daily! One of my favorite "cannot says" from a long long time ago.

"Five fresh fish specials daily."

Egad!

Not even in the same solar system, it brings to mind the first radio blooper I ever let loose on an unsuspecting public 35 years ago: the phrase in the news story I was reading was "...The Morris County Board of Chosen Freeholders." It came out as "The Morris County Board of Frozen Cheeseholders." My dad was listening at home and never let me forget it.

Thank you, thank you. I'm here all week. Try the veal.

I had one this morning and can't remember it now but my first thought as I struggled through? A perfect Can Not Say for the VO-BB. Am I the only one who thinks this when they stumble again and again in front of the mic? Yea, I didn't think so. This place rocks.

"...the possession of the predatory emulative propensity in a relatively high potency, a strong proclivity to adventuresome exploit.."

I got it out after a few takes, but can't seem to do it now when I try again. Good thing I got it sorted at least once when it counted :-)

What on earth was that for? Who was the audience? And why oh why did someone think that it should be verbalized in such a fashion. The scriptwriter in me would have rebelled...

PS - I just love frozen cheeseholders - keeps your fingers from getting chilled.

it didn't take anything that formidable to produce my own classic on-air foul-up during a weather forecast. just "...a snoo flow snurries."

Had this one myself today:

Zhejiang (Client Name) Co. Ltd is located in Jinhua city, China. Within three hours’ drive of Shanghai and two hours’ drive of Hangzhou, Jinhua is the transport junction in the middle of Zhejiang.

This after a week-long group of advanced med school text narrations.

My tongue has "blithters".

It was a book written last century, back when that sort of phrasing was commonly accepted. I actually relished the opportunity and looked at it as great practice.
