i finally went back to put a note on my "clogged blog" and was shocked there'd been nothing posted since february! i've been far busier than even i had thought...but in no way do i wish to sound like i'm complaining.

still, for anyone who wondered why 'imaginator' hadn't been joining in as many discussions as usual (or who have been grateful for it)...no, i haven’t closed shop. quite the opposite. i've been kept at the console almost day and night since the end of march.

through the efforts of a wonderful friend (three guesses), i was made aware of a 12-month writing/production gig — a 5-day-per-week 1-hour show on XM/Sirius for the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.

well, i got the gig, and while it’s good to have a dependable retainer for the first time in many moons, some hiccups in the development process saw a two-month lead evaporate into a week…then a matter of days.

still, like that bumper sticker says which tells you not to complain about farmers with your mouth full…i’m plugging away at editing existing recordings of guest speakers, writing bridging elements for the house announcer to record and send to me, then adding music, trimming, and mixing the finished 1-hour show for delivery. forty one-hour shows so far!

(insert the gent from the monty python sketch here: "Luxury!")

there have been other jobs, and the comedy murder mysteries to do in the meantime. but until i finally manage to work ahead, it's a no-brainer as to what (and Who) has my first priority.

if praying is something you already do…pray some physical endurance for me, won't you?.

if not…good vibes and vitamins wouldn’t hurt anything either!

Rowell,

You've been carrying a tremendous load for quite some time now. I am praying for you!
