i found the perfect use for old, outdated, inaccurate cards. blot the lipstick with 'em, ladies. for the men, too, if you wear lipstick. just sayin'.

If the majority of opinions lean towards gum... it sure's gonna stick!

I like them!

Not that there's anything WRONG with that...

I like them as well. Now you have to design a file box to hold this size card. Otherwise I'm concerned your card will get lost if it's in with the standard size card.

Years ago, I used wooden nickels. People just didn't throw 'em away thirty seconds after you hand it to 'em -- And they didn't get lost in a card file.

I just checked their website, and they still offer 'em:

Maybe I'll order some more... They are so much easier on the pocket than carrying around promotional bowling balls.

You know things aren't the same anymore when a wooden nickel costs 9 cents....and that's in quantities of 10,000 or more.

One of my local clients is a 1-person female ad agency. Her reaction was:

Cute maybe... effective? We'll see.

I love those cards. I got them for my niece one Christmas and she loved them. I also got her some cute little stickers with her picture on them from the same company and I think she liked those better. But the price was right all the way around. Hers didn't come in that cute container, though. Kudos!

new biz card ideas abound!

i held off sharing this for 24 hours for fear of learning it was a hoax. evidently it's a real idea.

behold, from meatcards-dot-com:

...printed, or rather "seared" onto beef jerky. not suitable for rolodex, according to the site.

i think i like dave's better...though i haven't actually tasted either one.

if consumed, dave's cards will keep you more regular than patrick's meat product... as they have much more fiber.
