I am trying to choose an inexpensive but good pair of studio monitors. I am looking at either the Samson Resolve 65a or the Behringer 2030a Truth speakers.
Any thoughts on the two items or should I be looking at something else?
Thanks,

I see the Yamaha NS-10's in almost every studio I've been in. I always think it's a good idea to hear your stuff the way your client will hear it. _________________ John Bailey Voiceovers |

As far as passive nearfield monitoring is concerned, the NS-10's sort of are a standard here in Europe. You'll find them wherever you go... I own a pair myself and for reference they still perform well. I'm currently testing V8 series powered monitors with an active subwoofer by KRK. You should check that out guys and gals... it is not really cheap... but very, very professional stuff!
