Safari Version 3.2.1 (5525.27.1)
page loaded quickly.
I was able to chose a video to view and it came right up and played very smoothly.
Was there supposed to be a vid in the slot as the page opened?
I didn't get anything already loaded in the video area, but I did have that nifty TownCast logo.
I like the whole thing— it's pretty charming. _________________ DBCooperVO.com

Worked fine here with a somewhat newer version of Safari: Version 4.0.3 (5531.9) Also tried Firefox Max v3.5.3 and that worked with no problem, too.
I think you're good to go on the Mac side. Now, with IE... well, that could be another story. |

You're in a swamp full of Mac users here, so I won't bore you with another report on how well it worked. However, I clicked on "Learn" and viewed the two videos on the history of Oak Ridge featuring the gentleman who helped create the A bomb, and found them quite interesting.

Todd,
WinXP SP3 using both Firefox 3.5 and IE 7 and the page loaded quickly and the videos played when clicked on. The first video in both browsers seemed to stream more slowly than the rest. I'm on a FiOS connection here 25Mbps download and even so the video paused a few times to catch up with the streaming. I didn't notice that with any of the other videos, but they all paused for a few seconds before starting to play. _________________ Be well,

Doesn't work on Opera Mini for the Blackberry, but most Fash videos don't. I wish more sites has versions for mobile browsers. _________________ Gregory Best

I checked the site using Foxfire 3.5.3 on a Windows Vista box and again with IE8..
I went through every link on the site and all worked well except Anderson County Health Council audio is very low.
Explore By Interest > Play > Anderson County Health Council
Map image missing from Oak Ridge CVB, ORGA, Len Hart, ICX, Herron-Connell, Emory Valley Center. With Firefox there is just a gray box but with IE there is the gray box with a red X. _________________ Ron Phillips

thanks everyone - ron - i'm aware of the map image problem - just haven't fixed it yet - the internets do not like the way i named the files.
as for the anderson co. audio issue --- yeah - what's up with that. i converted that video at the same time as all of the others (and since with every converter & in every format i can think of) and the audio comes out screwy every time. still working on that mystery. _________________ "i know philip banks": todd ellis
