Just a little something to let you see the grandeur of where I spend my time...
This taken just over the hill - so to speak, in Big Cottonwood Canyon, Utah. yes, there is still snow where I am, which is about level with the snowline in the picture.

Hey!!!!!!!!!! Were you in my backyard yesterday snapping photos?? Looks like it! And it especially looks good now that the patio is swept. (I can't quite figure out how to post a photo here, which would look pretty much like Frank's...)

I be in Salt Lick City, just north of the magnifique Mt. Olympus, which looms in my backyard. Actually, it's the SO's backyard; mine is in Sugarhouse, and in that backyard there's a big blooming chestnut tree a hundred years old in all its grandeur.

Beautiful, Frank. Wow...snow. Today, we were ecstatic because it was a "cool" day...only a high of 77.  I will be gazing longingly at your lovely mountain photo when the August heat gets unbearable.

The party 'bar-b' is ready, and waiting to be fired up.
My actual backyard is just over the hill from that picture... in Park City. I will post a pic from literally 'out my backdoor' later. So pick a date and we will throw the VO-BB party of the 21st Century. It could be fun...
Everyone is welcome, and an iSpeek 'session room' will be available too... or two or three...
Oh, iSpeek may be a little late in getting off the ground... only a few days or so though. The countdown to launch will begin in a few days... watch for it... www.ispeek.org "... it sounds this good..."

You luck dogs you! I live in the land that is flatter than a......uh.....uh....I got nothin'....let's just say it is flaaaaaaaaaaaaaaattttttttttt! I love it out west. Took a trip last year and drove rt 1 down the caost.....wow! I think my wife and I stopped like 1500 times on the 9 hour drive down to LA. It is worth it though....probably amazes me more since the nearest thing to a mountain I have is created by moles in my backyard
Are you flying us all out for the bbq? If so, I'm in!!

Ya know...Salt Lake City is an easy destination to make (just save it for outside the months of July and August--hotttttttttttt. Or even mid-May--who knew?--as it's inching toward 94 degrees for the rest of the week. Ick). A VO-BB gathering would be fab! Frank, we ought to get together and talk all things ispeek and VO and the characters on this board...and how we might entice them to visit us behind the zion curtain...
BTW, how DOES one post photos as reply here? I wanna show you MY backyard. I wanna, I wanna, I wanna...
