2010 for me will mean stopping before I start; start new things. 2009 laid the foundations for what lies ahead.

Item one on the stop list is flying. Ironically it's not taking me anywhere. Whilst I know how to get into an aeroplane and get it to take me somewhere the ability is not taking me anywhere so why bother? You may be able to answer that question but I can't, so - STOP!

Item two on the stop list is posting/typing "interwebbing". Whilst no one with an internet will notice any changes I will notice that there will be more conversations, more face to face time, more people and less cybermen and women.

"You need to get out more mate" he said.

"I intend to" I replied.

Finally, item 3 is my intention to stop doing what I feel I ought to do or want to do and simply allow myself to do what I am meant to do.

The fun part about item 3 is that I have no idea what I am "meant to do" so during 2010 and beyond I'm going to have a fabby time discovering.

Not going anywhere, just filtering and exercising some proper time management.

mmmm... time management.

I can always discover fascinating things on teh intarwebz if the computer is on and open. I have found that I get more of the things on my "I want to do" list if the computer is closed most of the day.

Expect more in the new year.
Better physical fitness. More homemade films.
You know, the good stuff.

This is me breathing a sigh of relief, Philip! Laugh

My list this year includes travel.
I have been NJ/USA-tethered for over 6 years & I'm going stir crazy.
Both my passports (US & French) are up to date and I SO want to use them!

There is family in Europe that I haven't seen YEARS (France: 6 - Austria: 20!) and I'd really like to remedy that...there are also workshops & seminars that I really want to attend......of course......this will involve quite a bit of mom-coverage planning...unless the Universe decides otherwise....

Books to read, fun to have....here's a to a great 2010! Laugh

Time management is gonna be a biggie for me, too. I'll be going for quality, not necessarily quantity as to my web-capades.

Nice one, Todd. Wink

Health, self- (aka time-) management, and family unity are my big goals. As for VO, considering that this year's three jobs all happened in the last six months, 12 jobs (one per month) in 2010 feels like a decent challenge. So I'm shooting for 20. Money Mouth Bring it on, year!!

I'm with you guys- better time management for sure.

Other goals include making good use of my new commercial demo, making some changes to the website, marketing and more marketing...and letting my clients know how much I adore them. I'd also love to travel more this year...meaningful, useful travel. I have hefty goals for my career- and I really want to push myself to take the necessary steps to make those goals a reality...and not let the words 'no' or 'impossible' stand in my way.

Onward and Upward in 2010!

1. More marketing time. 2. More training.

#2 is in place to start this month....#1's going to require some better time management here.

Anybody got a good way to squeeze 18 hours into 12?

The getting out part is on my list. Must set up a regular "get off my rear and out for a walk" alarm.

So many goals for this new year:

Install Skype so I can take some private lessons.
Have a professional I trust evaluate my demos.
Make new demos as needed.
Marketing, marketing, marketing.
Better studio set up with sound proofing.
Auditioning and or practicing Monday thru Friday.
Continue working on Character voices.

Non VO related:
Exercise each day.
Study French using the new CD's I got from Santa.
Declutter my apartment.
Continue discussing moving to possibly Scotland or Canada.

This list should either keep me out of trouble or get me into more trouble.

Time management - yep..

marketing - learning how to market well - marketing -- even if I have to hire someone to do it...
