I'm especially intrigued by FiRe by Audiophile Engineering.
| Quote: | FiRe was created specifically to be a field recorder for the iPhone, not a voice or memo recorder. It is a truly professional recorder developed for audio professionals by audio professionals. It has many professional features other recorders don’t. In addition to supporting stereo recording, it’s the first iPhone recorder to display an accurate audio waveform in real time, and the first to support markers, Broadcast WAVE metadata, and the instant downloading of files in multiple file formats. FiRe is also the first recorder of its kind to offer native SoundCloud integration.
“Excellent quality and design. Some real thought went in to this one. When I don’t have my Zoom H2 handy, this is my field recorder.” |
This recording app is freaking $9.99.
Anthony, you HAVE to get this. Just record any bird songs you want identified and email them to me. BOOM. |

For some reason I thought you had one.
I too am waiting - rumor is that it's coming in July but I can't confirm it. |

Me three! I'm waiting for Verizon as well. As Tony Craine knows, it's been a long exercise in patience for me, something I'm not known for.
I've heard the Verizon one is coming in late Q3, September, and the 4G will drop this summer. _________________ Pam Tierney
