Just 'nuther day here in Texas. My booth smells like a locker room...and so do I. And the AC is workin' just fine. More mental imagery for Moe. _________________ www.voiceoverdrew.com

You guys should have seen our family and friends unloading our moving truck yesterday in 90 plus however many degrees. Of course, I wasn't actually on mic at the time, but I did manage to squeeze in 2 ISDN session between loads of boxes and furniture. _________________ Be well,

update! 'bout $1,000 to bubble-gum & paperclip it together until that can install a new unit!
BUT - they're going to credit any repair cost to the bill of the new one ... at least that's good news. _________________ "i know philip banks": todd ellis

That's great that they will credit the work. Check if the new unit qualifies for a tax rebate. (Thread jack I think ) So Moe just for you here an image think of a jolly fat guy who loves it cold doing constriction work in 100 plus temps and humidity. My last two days I spent part of them helping build at a haunted attraction we do and we have no air conditioner. Plus we were working on inside room no windows or outside doors. I do have a very cool sound room (not in temps) there, that I can bounce off the walls. I will send pics soon. _________________ Ron Levine

Apparently there will be no Summers for the San Francisco region ever again. My tomato plants look sickly. It has yet to reach 80 degrees here this year and it hasn't even been 70 degrees since July 4th.
I will be wearing my baseball jacket on thisevening's walking of the dog. _________________ j.s. gilbert

bad news - great vendor - and i'll share to brag a bit on my vendor.
less than 2 years ago the inside unit/air handler shot craps & we had it replaced ($2,200) leaving the outside unit alone knowing it'd go sooner or later. yesterday it did - so now all we have to do is buy the outside bit, right? wrong. epa regulations have changed & they can no longer sell the outside unit that is compatible with my NEW inside unit!!! not only that - but they have to replace a major component of the inside unit as well!!! as i am about to call B.S., and loudly - james held up his hand and said - but don't worry - we're going to do everything needed to make the inside unit play nice - and we're going to do it for free. we didn't know the regulations were going to change - but we told you you could buy this in stages - and we're going to make it work for you. and they did.
they could have said - "sorry - it's bad luck." and dinged me for another $1,000 - and no other company in the country would have told me any different - but they held up their 2 year old promise and impressed the heck out of me. _________________ "i know philip banks": todd ellis
