Via a well known voice over talent, I was offered to audition for this commercial and since I have received my best critiques here, I would be very open to hear your voices again. As always thank you for your time and energy vested into my inquiries.
Best,
Daniel Pierce
To note, it does require you to download the 1 Megabyte file. Apologies for any inconvenience. Cheers.

Hi Daniel-- I'd record it again without trying to 'hit' words. Just talk like a regular person and it'll be a lot better! _________________ the Amy Snively family of brands for all your branded thing needs.

Thanks, Amy. That is a large habit of mine, and I do cringe at the "off" I over sell.
You're just what I needed for the iron. _________________ Richard D. Hall

Hi, Daniel...
Amy said it best...make it more conversational. You can tell you were reading.
Also... this may be nit-picky...but your pronunciation of the word "imagine" bothered me.. it came out "eemagine." Maybe nothing, but it stood out to me.
You've been blessed with awesome pipes. Just relax and imagine yourself speaking to one other person. Be careful of where you take your breaths, also.
Best of luck. Keep working on it!! That voice is loaded with potential.
All the best...

Thank you Mike for the kind words. This in my humble opinion has been the most conversational read of my this far. Acting as a Character VO come much easier to me since I can commit to another personality.
Commercial VO tends to present the challenge of the perfect storm: conversational yet original, normal yet interesting. My natural conversational voice is normally not excited about much and when it does so, it's tempo is too fast for my voice type to market what I'm sharing. So it does seem to be a fighting current; but nothing I shouldn't be able to soon accomplish. _________________ Richard D. Hall
