Got this one through a Facebook group:

Quote:
____X____ is casting for voice over talent for next project. Searching for AA female with motherly voice. Older female preferred. You would be the mother of an adult...This is an non paying, credit and meals only opportunity. Please send mp3 or vo reels to [email removed]
I guess they send the meals to you through email too?

It may depend if those are "happy" meals or “gourmet” meals.

Good to know that if things get tough, I can just head out to a busy intersection with my cardboard sign, "Will talk for food"...

It's the opportunity to audition for other jobs which may result in meals.

I think this video may have been shared here before, but it is most appropriate in this thread and worth another look..

I can safely say with some authority that there never was a project worthy of being put on a demo reel that got its talent by saying "this will look good on your demo reel."

Now that I have professional cameras and lights and editing gear in-house, you should hear the insane propositions people want to make me for video production. It makes "credit and copy" as compensation almost make sense.

I have to go audition for some $79,000 gigs that Philip didn't want to read for.

See ya later.
