Deirdre took one look at my old site and saw the problem.
"It's sprawling." she said
Indeed it was -- too many notes, to borrow from Amadeus.
The new site is the result of her creativity and knowledge and our collaboration.

I too love the pic and the simplicity, but on my monitor in 100% I have to scroll to see the bottom of the image. If I reduced the size of the page to try to get the whole image on the screen, the labels do not size down with the image - so the words on the right bleed off the image into the neutral brown-greenish background.
Explorer 7 - 1440 x 900 screen resolution. _________________ Playing for a living...

The BG image is supposed to bleed off the bottom.
I've set it so you can see all the words, no matter what your resolution.
I thought I had killed the overflow and hence and appearance of a scrollbar.
I'll have to make sure it is set up that way.
No telling if IE will pay attention to my code though. _________________ DBCooperVO.com

Very impressive home page. Fits perfectly my 20" Dell with 1152 x 864 resolution. Now I'll go listen. _________________ If attacked by a mob of clowns go for the juggler.

OK - I looked at it in Firefox - and no scroll bars there on the main page.
However, on the pop up box for the Demos - there is a scroll bar for me on that box and the size of the box is smaller than the size of the scroll bar. So when I dragged the bottom of the window down a bit so that I could get to the bottom of the scroll bar, it ends up with a bit of white background at the bottom. _________________ Playing for a living...

Is anyone else getting a scrollbar on the side of the index page?
I didn't get one with my IE[whatever] in XP.
I've got the code set for NO scrollbars. _________________ DBCooperVO.com

Deirdre,
In Firefox 3.6.8 (Win7 - 32-bit) I had scroll bars for the demo pop-ups, too. _________________ Be well,

You're supposed to have scrollbars for the pop ups.
It's an iFrame, so the scrollbar is in the INSIDE of the window.
Thanks to Connie's note, though, I've realized that what's happening in some browsers is the scrollbar is too long for the popped window.
Is now fixed.
update: I can code for no resize handles, but most browsers will ignore it. _________________ DBCooperVO.com

I had another post started to try to explain that scroll bar longer than window thing! But I got distracted...and you figured it out without me. _________________ Playing for a living...
