Hi all
Need to quote for 32 pages of dense packed IVR prompts for a major international corporation. Help! The projects we do here are usually much smaller in scale. Supplying voice only via ISDN.
What would be a sesnsible rate? Any clues much appreciated.
Many thanks |

I did something like this quite recently for IBM and charged £200 per hour + VAT |

I'm choosing Eddie as my agent for my next IVR job.

If you're only just recording the voice via ISDN, with NO editing, what Philip said is appropriate.
Eddie! Don't confuse the boy!
(But you can be MY IVR agent as well) _________________ Liz de Nesnera O.A.V. ~ Livin' The VO Dream!

i don't know --- depending on the length of the prompt - numbers up/down - days & months up/down --- it could take a lot of prompts to equal 1 minute of finished audio! _________________ "i know philip banks": todd ellis

TOTALLY true!
...but IVR is almost never (I know never say never, but....) calculated on a "finished minute" metric
It's almost always on a "per prompt" or "per word" basis
But if you are just doing the recording and no editing, then giving a "per studio hour" rate works as well. _________________ Liz de Nesnera O.A.V. ~ Livin' The VO Dream!

It's what I actually charge and book. It does include editing. If they want music it's extra! |
