I have this thing for "Nice".
I want to publicly point out another nice person: Jeff Kaylor (JeffK1)
A couple of months ago I made a VO demo for my 9-year-old son, Alex. He's helped dad with some radio spots (pro bono) over the last 2 years, so I thought it only fair that he have a demo.
After seeing that I had joined the VO-BB, Jeff went surfing on my website. He found Alex's demo and passed it along to a colleague. Jeff's colleague contacted me and asked if Alex would be interested in doing some voice work for them. Alex understands that he is not the only one auditioning for this job, and that it MAY go to someone else, but he is just excited that he was asked to audition.
Jeff, I cannot tell you how much your recommendation has meant to a 9-year-old boy and his dad. You are officially on my “Nice Person” list.

Great story. Thanks for sharing that. Obviously, I have a thing for "nice" too. Indeed, Dan-O started a thread here not all that long ago, on that very subject:

WOW Dave...thanks for the kudos! I don't deserve such accolades as much as other memebers here. You probably became aware very quickly after joining this wonderful BB that ALL of these folks bend over backwards to help each other. Myself, I quickly considered this place "home". Thanks again and good luck to your son!
