It was the mic's fault. Hysterical. _________________ Bobbin Beam

What we don't know (and we're probably better for it) is what this lampshade does for a living. _________________ Mike

Um, is it bad that I notice the singer is blonde? Or was that inevitable? _________________ Be well,

What Mike said, although I think we can all guess. (Hey, they probably don't have microphones at Hooters.) _________________ Bob Ransom

What did she say...? "I was born for this" (or something to that effect).
We should all consider ourselves very lucky she doesn't consider herself born for a life in healthcare. _________________ Mike

i'm betting it took the guys behind the glass that long to stop laughing enough to fix the issue. _________________ "i know philip banks": todd ellis

Yep, we did. But without using myself as an example (I was an early nerd), I'm guessing most 20-somethings (even teens) who develop what they say is a passion for something would at least - in this case - be able to distinguish between an electronic device (a microphone with a pop screen attached) from a round piece of metal at the end of a pole (the boom counterweight). Does she not at least watch performers on TV?
Actually, I have videotape of a four year-old (from 1991) walking right up to my camera, pointing at the mic and saying, "Nice microphone."
The four year-old, I'd hire. He gets it. _________________ Mike
