... i answered a call for "midwest american male". it turned into a fairly lengthy series of instructional videos for the GOOGLE! i just did three more yesterday and thought i'd post one of the earlier ones here thanking the VO-BBer who posted the gig ... because, sadly i don't remember and i owe that person a beer or 30.

That's fantastic...and I love how folks here are so generous to share these kinds of opportunities. I've been on the receiving end myself. _________________ We have nothing to fear but fear itself.

Could it have been Jeff Augustine? A year or two ago, I did a couple of spots for a bank in Missouri as a result of something he posted in the Work section. _________________ Lee Gordon, O.A.V.

I had watched the Missouri clip after the Wild Fire clip. Todd scores again. Nice work. _________________ "Bailey"

Hey Todd, during the first week of August, I posted something in the WORK dept. about a UK prod. company that was looking for some authentic US regional accents, so that might've been the one you're talking about.
If so, I'm glad it's worked out so well for you! Just like Scott, I've been on the receiving end of some killer VO-BB recommendations too, so I'm delighted to have the chance to pay it forward.
Yet another reason that the VO-BB and its denizens ROCK!!!
Now, about those beers...
Just kidding...I'm not really much of a beer drinker. _________________ Doug Turkel (tur-KELL)

What a sweet gig Todd! It's cool that you were able to use a southern dialect for a commercial read. Congrats! |

. I was listening on my laptop speakers in the kitchen with lots of stuff going on. I just listened to it again and you clearly have no southern dialect. I feel kind of stupid now. Sorry about that. |
