It's with a great deal of perverse pleasure that I am able to say ...NOTHING!
Not at liberty to name the production company, client, project or my role. Although I tease people about NDAs and genuinely see no point in the few I have been asked to sign in this instance I DO get the point.
The slightly frustrating part is that it would look good on my CV.
Yesterday I received an email from a TV commercial producer who wanted to know my availability for a job. She attached a document listing all the UK TV stations on which the commercial would be broadcast along with the number of time slots booked. Is the proposed fee acceptible? Any fee with a comma in it is fine by me. The product? The client? The ad agency? Nothing said to me about that. I've learned in these cases that what they don't say I don't ask.
NDAs are a bit 1990's so I believe we ought to have as part of the Voiceoverist Code an agreement with everyone to ...just smile and take their money. |

Wild as a wild thing (good call by the way). Whilst the threatened snow didn't arrive I was getting a liberal soaking in sea water 100 yards or more from the sea. It was a day for staying indoors unless you happen to be a Border Collie owner/driver. |
