Well, it's done. I do appreciate everyone's replies to my earlier post. Last night I lay out all the clothes I was going to wear today. Then I got up this morning and put on a totally different outfit. Ah, the perogative of a woman!
They were all very nice, as I expected them to be. They were experiencing technical difficulties (with a phone patch I believe) so I had lots of time to load my example websites into their laptop. That was the most difficult part of the day - I hate using someone else's computer.
Finally it was my turn to go into the studio. It was clear the interviewer had not read the outline I had submitted. Time was tight and I'm pretty sure the segment did not run the full 6 minutes. So we were kinda jumping all over the place rather than moving through the material in an orderly manner. And I got to show only 4 out of a possible 12 websites. (I knew there was little chance I'd be able to show all 12.)
Apparently they were pleased with my 'performance' because they asked me to please submit ideas for other segments as they would like to have me back. In this instance, they had approached me.
I did manage to catch a glimpse of myself on one of the monitors. Egads - I ain't used to this new fat body of mine.
All in all it was fun and they mentioned my web address in the outro which can't be bad. Don't know yet when it will be airing. It airs in Canada and - hey Katrina - in Australia. _________________ Elaine

I was poking around earlier as I used to watch ZDTV later Tech TV and loved Leo LaPorte's shows... www.callforhelp.tv I think, they are on Google video and you can purchase individual shows for .99 notsure where it's airing, but I know its no longer on my comcast system, but I get enough of their own crappy programming.
glad to hear you survived and even more so to hear you enjoyed it, and they you. |

Hey now! Men have perogativey things, too! For instance, in the same scenario, we'd remove the clothing we're wearing, lay it out on the floor, and then get up and put it back on the next morning. No hassling with big decisions and one daily task is finished!
And congratulations, too! Good luck with the future projects.
