|
|
Just saw and tried the new Porta-Booth - Plus from Harlan Hogan. Very cool! It's going to be available starting Monday on Amazon, or the Voicever Essentials website.
It's replacing his original Porta-Booth, and sells for $ 189, but will have an introductory special at $ 149.
Here's what the literature says:
15% larger than the original Porta-Booth but fits in most carry-on luggage!
Permanently installed Auralex Studiofoam® on all interior surfaces.
Includes custom made carrying case.
One zipper one minute assembly.
Two-way zippered rear slot for shot-gun mics, cables & boom arms.
Pre-slit bottom foam provides a solid base for desktop mic stands.
Just 4 ˝ pounds & covered in rugged 190T rip stop nylon.
Four diagonal corner straps add rigidity.
Boom-arm anti-sway strap.
15 x 16 assembled
Full disclosure: No, I'm not a paid endorser, but Harlan is a personal friend and asked me to let you guys know about this. And I have to say, this is a very well-made piece of gear. |

Got one here, will show it on EWABS this Sunday with Harlan coming in on Skype. I am going to compare the resulting sound with the PBPro using an AT3035 mic. _________________ If it sounds good, it is good.

I just got one myself. I'll be giving it a test drive this week and will be happy to report my findings! _________________ DBCooperVO.com
