| OK, I grew up in Boden. Hope you can beat that by claiming north. Nothing south of Piteċ is north in my book. Heck, when I moved to Umeċ, some kids seriously believed we had raindeer wandering around in town. |

Ladies and gentlemen, I present you the conundrum of Swedish geography:
Anyone living in the far north claims that all areas south of them do not count as "the north". Anyone living in the south claims that all areas north of the middle (an arbitrary line that the individual places) are part of the North.
By the sanctity of logic, I hereby claim my home town to be part of Jötunheimr.
PS: You don't have reindeer in town, but they're definitely wandering both the freeway and smaller roads. My neighbours are stuck with moose. |
