That cockroach bit was hilarious! The Jessica Savitch bit? Hmmm. Her reputation precedes her. I love how she sets her jaw and stiffly brushes back her hair. But the most curious thing is the news content. Not much different than today.

Jessica was completely within in her rights, she needed a stage manager, those news hits are precisely timed and dang that was the NETWORK. (guess the days of trying to getaway with doing more and paying less was in full force even then) I covered the story of her death when it happened, tragic story of a talented news anchor.
