While I'm not sure about the original Mbox, Mbox2 has a "mix" control on it that will allow you to monitor the input only without the computer latency.
Another way around is to use an outbaord mixer and just listen to your channel input rather than the Mbox's output.
I rarely use phones when recording anyway unless I'm on a phone patch or ISDN. |
