Ok let me be clear on this, when you are hired to perform a task like culling that make you part of the project. I assumed too much, I just thought most would infer that job relate sharing would be a “Good Thing”

Just indiscriminately putting content out there is like posting an e-mail message you got, that is unethical. I know you nor I would do that.

My normal procedure is to slate the demo with just my name, unless some additional information is pertinent (i.e. "playing all three characters"), include my name in the file name, and add a note that includes thanking the producer for giving me the opportunity and my contact info (e-mail address & phone number) and a link to my website.

On Lauren's site, I believe the rules are slightly different and prelude me from slating with my full name or providing contact information. Therefore, I would omit the slate, not add my name to the file name, and forego the contact information and web link. But I would still include a note thanking the producer for the opportunity.

I am of the belief that "less is more".

If my audition does not stand out because of my skill and talent, then I will not get the job no matter what I write in a comments section. With the multiple casting sites available to VOists, I find I do not connect much but when I do - I do.

on p2p I personalize responses and answer any questions that might be posed. I also, sometimes mention similar projects I've recently done. A the end -
thanks for listening, you can hear more demos at.....
and my contact info.

I always slate my name and - if more than 1 - number of takes. (I always slate for my agents so see no reason not to on p2p.)

Like Pinto, for my agents it's usually nothing more than:
2 takes on this. Thanks!

I slate my name and get into the copy. If there are multiple takes I indicate that in the file name and cover letter. i always personalise the letter and thank them.
