It was definitely a little bit o' everything kind of day today. I voiced:

-A documentary for Ducks Unlimited that's about rehabilitating the salt marshes at the outlet of an Oregon river

-Six national commercials (well, the nation is Iceland) for a spunky American style hamburger restaurant chain

-A speech John F. Kennedy delivered the day before he died all about medical advancements through space travel, with the core audience member being 15 year old inner city kids still learning how to read

-An insane, demonic king for an online video game.

Many hats in one day. Whew. Loved it, of course.

Same here:

1) First 15 minutes of an audiobook
2) 5 real estate narrations
3) narration of a video for firefighters
4) code of conduct and ethics elearning for... some company.
5) internet radio spots for Dunkin Donuts

Nothing as exciting as a demon, though.

Really nice day because I didn't really do an awful lot.

CNBC promos
Corporate twaddle
Sales video

Latter session with a studio in the USA. Colin, Megan and Rebecca directing. Six pages of info ending with the call to action. At the end of the session they were all happy. I read the script and yet have no idea what exactly the product does.

Some scripts for CBS Radio Boston

Household bookkeeping
Nap because I'm fighting some kind of bug, and I don't mean Mothra.

What a coincidence!

1.) Spent time on the internet.
2.) Bought a pound of coffee at Dunkin Donuts.

Donna, Ladue News liked you! "...while Donna Postel commands the stage as the title character’s austere mother". Well done indeed! I was in Coriolanus at school... only one of the crowd/soldiers though. We got into a whole bunch of trouble on opening night when we decided to chant 'anus is a bum!

Ah... the British schoolboy. God preserve 'em.

Yesterday:

- Got up at 5am to be alert of mind and mouth at 7 to record another episode of This Week In History for The Onion
- Narrated a web video for a Finnish business software company
- Completed invoicing for the week and realized I had invoiced a month's worth in just one week....decided to blow off the rest of the day
- Toured Portland with DW, her visiting mother and friend, went to a Chinese seafood restaurant - they ate the squishy things while I sampled shrimp and beef dishes
- Visit to a gourmet ice cream shop... the vanilla with chunks of chevre cheese and marionberry jam infused with habanero pepper flavor was amazing
- Ticked to find only tiny snippets of the Olympic opening ceremonies on legitimate sources (still trying to avoid getting cable)
- Fell asleep watching a new favorite show, Top Gear, a very funny programme that also happens to talk a lot about cars

A good day.

I spent the day hanging out in the yard on the swing and hot tub and went for a massage. I then bought another vintage watch on eBay.
