So glad to be done with that project. I just finished the pickups on a massive audiobook detailing an academic approach to Christian spirituality. I haven't done medical narration...but I have a feeling, this was similar in necessary research. Other languages, terms I've never heard and will never use, sentences that are a paragraph and make no sense to my feeble little mind.
I can't wait to get back to commercials and books about stuff that doesn't require a Dr. in front of your name to comprehend. |

I'm working on a nonfiction title right now about Christianity and atheism. It's interesting and I'm enjoying it, but my goodness, the sentences... they go on for days.
And one chapter that's sixty minutes long? That's quite a long time to be behind the mic! _________________ Corey "Vox Man" Snow

Yep...same here. The shortest chapter was 45 minutes...and there was only one of those. It'll be a decent payday, but dang...I don't want to do those jobs for my living. |

I have to admit, I'm over a month into this now, and while I've had only limited success in the commercial side of things, I'm LOVING the audiobook world. Every day I get up and get to read books for money. It's my perfect job, heh.
Even when the book isn't one I'd necessarily choose (and I've had a couple), I'm still flabbergasted at my good fortune. _________________ Corey "Vox Man" Snow

+1 for fiction here. I'm finishing up a spate of nonfiction this week, back to fiction next week. Can't wait! The current one, while very interesting, is probably going to be around 13 finished hours. Chapters are 120-150 pages each. My brain hurts!
But Corey, I agree - I LOVE audiobooks. _________________ Dangerous.

I'm headed to some historical "based on a true story" fiction. These will be fun |
