Really, I ought to start a new thread (for research purposes and good humor) called Krappy Kopy (extra points for trilling the 'r'). I've decided that one of the toughest aspects of VO is making krappy kopy (heretofore known as KK) sound good (excellent, brilliant, compelling, what-have-you).
Got this audition script today:

But since It was Thursday that your statement offended me, you didn't make it thru Thursday clean....and since you tried to postpone the offense to the next day (which was really offensive), now Friday's down the tubes as well......  But I'm a really nice guy and I choose to forgive you....so both Thursday and Friday are good to go. lol
And you realize of course that this was all in jest. There was never any offense committed.

Absolument! You are a nice guy and no offense was taken. You remain the only one I have offended today though so if at the end of the day, I offend no one else, I will consider my slate wiped clean.

Pam,
I went to college in Chicago (well, the north suburbs) and lived and worked there for 17+ years. The only offenses I remember were the inevitable classes between White Sox and Cubs fans.
