Far from her home in LA, Brodie Castle conducted one of her Zen and the art of Voice overs Master classes. As it is a water born class and is based on voice, movement, martial arts and contemporary dance i found it a challenge but boy it has changed me.
Tough to hold for 60 seconds the 1st Promo position took some mastering but I got it in the end.

I thought you said "strictly NO walking on the water".
I bet you put your Neumann at the edge of the water and got some great "lake effect" reverb....or "ocean effect" in your case. _________________ Ben

I can see Phillip's new book now, "Zen and the Art of Voice Over" with audio CD included. Followed by his fall release -- "Kata forms for each type of Voice Over" with a DVD to show you how its done. It is available in various karate styles and languages.
But if you act now in the next twenty minutes we'll throw in....

Completed while Maurice Sendak was his next door neighbor, it would appear Banksey has a long time honored history of posing....
Apparently, it would appear he has yet to master new positions.... _________________ Genus |

It's a CD of 60 minutes of COMPLETE SILENCE.
Shows you how your studio should be with the sound of one hand clapping. _________________ DBCooperVO.com |

Quote: | We did re-voicings for Chicken Little . . .Very cool stuff to play with-- re-voicings for Finding Nemo (I was Anchor, the shark. a riot!), The Emperor's New Groove, and the first Pirates of the Caribbean | Man, I soo want to do cartoon character work. Being in NY, the only time I see a Pat Fraley seminar come up it's through Susan Berkley and is usually beyond my meager available disposable cash, but I've got all his CD's and I've listened to them often enough that I can almost include Mr. Fraley's name on my resume. There are two things I especially want to learn from Mr. Fraley, how to be a cartoon character voiceover god, and how to have the coolest hair ever! _________________ Joe Rodriguez, Bilingual Voice Actor | The Voiceover Thespian Blog |
