VO-BB - 20 YEARS OLD!

A month ago I didn't own one. Now I have two. lol

I was on the hunt for a T-Power adapter because the one I purchased from B & H was defective. So while waiting for the replacement I answered an ad from a sound guy. While he didn't have my power adapter he pulled out a 416 from his gear he forgot he had. The price was very reasonable and I couldn't pass it up.

I really don't need two so I figured I would pass on my bargain to a forum member.

This is the P48 version, black. I have tested her and she sounds great. I cannot tell the difference between the two I have. Visually however... she is not the prettiest girl at the dance. She has spent her life at the end of a boom pole. No dings, just some wear on the finish with an inventory number engraved.

She would be perfect for someone wanting to try a 416, a traveling mic or as an experienced workhorse. For someone that has wanted to try one, you won't be wasting any money.. Please pass it along to another VO-BB'er if it doesn't fit your style.

Great deal for an authentic 416, at the price of a CAD e100s, it's a no-brainer. These mics when cared for, even with a patina, they will last for many years, and can be serviced for infinite life-span.

Just reduced it to my out of pocket cost.

$450 + ship.

Good until tomorrow then I will sell it on Ebay.

It is a shame no one here has jumped on this deal. I would rather this go to VO assoc that can use one than me making a little money on ebay.

I am very interested in buying it. I'm also in Orange County (Newport), and could possibly save us the shipping hassle. George Whittam, and Dan Lenard can vouch for me if needed.

Is there anything included with the mic? At this price, probably not.
