Anybody know about this?

Have any opinions, thoughts? Seems like ti may be a good choice for a basement studio ceiling rather than RC channel, multiple layers drywall and GreenGlue? Or is it? George--have you tried this stuff? |

I don't have any first-hand experience with these products, but it looks like another flavor of quiet rock. Somebody I found the forum said it really is just two layers of drywall with green glue between but prebuilt for you.
It's no substitute for structural decoupling when low frequency noise is an issue. _________________ If it sounds good, it is good.

Gosh, was hoping for a magic bullet. But this stuff is both hard-to-get and expensive, so...fuhgeddaboudit Traditional methods it will be. plus GG of course. |
