Radio stations are starting to test commercials to see if they or their clients really want to run them. Hmmmm.

Interesting. The article said 1 to 5 second commercials. I can hear it now....."ohhhh...what the heck.....they gave me 4 seconds worth of read for a 1 second spot!!!!"
However, if this weeds out those absolutely horrible spots from the radio and replaces them with spots that are the least, not bad....I am for the change. _________________ Ben

I have only heard one of those 4 second commercials. It was a promo with Ben Patrick Johnson for House. It simply said "Don't miss House tonight on Fox."
It worked cause I remember it. |

Bruce, thanks for posting that. I saw it too, and wondered if it matters. I like the quote toward the end of the write-up from an ad agency guy, who says most spots are crap because they originate from the station. You know: "for all your insert can't-live-without thing here. What struck me is that the station won't review comments until there have been a minimum of 150 views (listens). There's some saturation. And I thought it was bad when I make a deal for longtime use of something on the web. Eeegads. _________________ sitting at #8, though not as present as I'd like to be. Hello!
