jim - it does not work at all with cold or even warm water. something to do with the surface area of the hot water droplets.
it's science ... i wouldn't understand.

It would only be in the gear section if the counterintuitive Mpemba effect were to happen during the Iranian double pause. At that point the result would be hail instead of snow.
