George, alas, I only have one RJ45 jack on the back of my tower. Guessing a splitter wouldn't work?
It's trippy when you get a connection working from your phone like that and start thinking of the possibilities. _________________ Joe Szymanski

The Zephyr plugs into your network router or a network switch. _________________ If it sounds good, it is good.

|
|
It appears that you can't make a mic selection running the Chrome browser on Android. a quote from the ipDTL site:
pDTL does not yet officially support Android although we are encouraging users to try it and feedback. At present USB microphone selection isn’t possible on Chrome for Android selection of the internal microphone is problematic.
This appears to be an issue for those of us who wanted to use the USB Host function on the Android with an interface ..i.e. the new MixerFace or another device. Anyone successfully tried another workaround other than using the 3.5 mm jack on the phone? |

I checked into this with Kevin, the developer, and he says:

Got ipDTL last week, but haven't had a chance to test it, yet. Anyone up for a quick test? Leaving in 1/2 hour though... _________________ Ulf Bjorklund

Nice one George. OK, I will take a more reasonable and rational approach and head over the gear section. _________________ Ulf Bjorklund

Just a followup on this. I was able to get both the Software Authority program working via serial port (with some install tweaks from the developers) and also the built-in webpage via Ethernet. The SA program has a nice interface but both seem to work equally well as remote controllers. _________________ Joe Szymanski
