Audition CC is version 6.0 according to the info in the help screen.
Audition is available via subscription as a single product. When you use the word "suite" that indicates the subscription where you get ALL the products they offer in the Creative Cloud era.
Once you wrap your mind around the concept that software via subscription is likely to be the "norm" for a lot of companies going forward, buying the suite is not all that much more than buying the one product. (Easy for ME to say... if I am talking about spending YOUR money.) |

If the audio program is in the latest CSS Suite you will probably get support. |
I would respectfully differ on that Eddie. Audition is part of CC and well supported. Not sure if I'd call it a legacy product, the latest version has incredibly powerful editing chops. I made the switch just last year from SawStudio - now THAT'S a legacy product!
Having said that, is anyone running Audition on Mavericks? We're about to make the switch from Windows to Macs and I'm in the "due diligence" phase... |
I'm on mavericks and CC. Works like a dream (aside from the problem I described, which was likely my own pig ignorance) |
