Tested the BETA of Source-Connect Now, not bad. For my purposes I would use this for recorded on-air interviews and it was everything advertised, sounded like the "guest" was sitting right across from me.

Chrome browser required. I am using the BETA version 34.0.1847.76

Sign up for FREE Beta test of NOW and download the Nexus plug-in as a 15 day demo, you will need an i-Lok.

Minimum, Pro Tools 10.3.8 to record direct to PT using their plug-in (any PT version less than this is a no go) there are two plug-ins--Source-Nexus Basic 1.0 which for voice mono is all I need and then they have the big daddy router Source-Nexus that handles multi-track music etc. They will sell the Router plug-in for 125 and 295 respectively. Not sure what Now will cost.

Connected and sent an invite to my guest, that was it, simple. You will need to configure Pro Tools with an AUX Input and insert the plug-in. Two additional tracks armed one for your mic, the other for guest mic.

From what I understand you can utilize a different DAW but there is a work around you have to deal with.

Support was very helpful. Interested to hear if anyone else is testing the NOW Beta.

Just tried it this past Friday with John Taylor. We were hooked up for about 30 minutes. Zero drop outs. The audio quality seems pretty close to ISDN. I didn't have a lot of time to work with configuration before hand. I was using the Mac's native sound card. I'd like to see what the difference is using the Digi-002R.

I'll have to fiddle with it a bit more.

GW is in the house (yo).

Truthfully George. It sounds really good. SC basic does too. Good enough for broadcast TV. Proved it on AGT with Joe.

I hope the studios are listening.

It's really "time".
