My chair's a 10 year old average office chair from Office Max. It makes these occasional clicks when I move even the slightest.
I'm gonna see if some rubber washers will help with that but in the meantime can anyone recommend a quiet chair for a studio?
Thanks

The Herman Miller chairs are not cheap, but they are quiet.

I have the Herman Miller Mirra. Love it! Paid $800 for it 6-7 years ago. You can probably get them for closer to $500 now. The quality and comfort are amazing.

I third the Herman Miller chairs. I have the Mirra also. Great chair. I put the arm rests down on it and it has helped my posture and reduced some of my occasional back pain issues.

Frank Muller was one of the great audiobook narrators...Steven King, Pat Conroy, Jack London. He had a terrible motorcycle accident in 2001 and eventually died in 2008. I remember perusing his website years before his accident and someone had written in, asking what kind of chair he preferred. Sure enough it was a molded plastic chair by Herman Miller. http://www.smartfurniture.com/products/Eames-Molded-Plastic-Armchair-with-4-Leg-Base.html the one with the simple metal legs.
