I have a reel to reel that I still use, if it's real valuable, maybe someone else should do it, if your at the, "What the hell, let's give this a try." stage…

Thanks for the recommendations everyone! I talked with Uncle Roy, and he's going to digitize the reel and cassette for me. Once I get them I'll post them there! Everyone has said that I sound exactly like my Dad...so we'll see.

I, too, have a R2R. And lots of tape which hasn't been stored properly. Sigh, guess I should add that to the to-do list and get to digitizing.

Thanks to all that recommended me. I will be baking (MmMmM!) the 1/4" tape and 'restoring, transferring, and archiving' that tape + the audio cassette.
